Fredrik Backman Books in Order
Every Fredrik Backman book in publication order — 12 in total, spanning 2012–2025.
Fredrik Backman writes about grumpy old men, small hockey towns and people at the end of their rope, and somehow every book ends up being about how much we need each other. The Swedish novelist broke out with A Man Called Ove in 2012 — a widower's failed suicide attempts keep getting interrupted by neighbors who need things — and has been making readers laugh and weep in the same paragraph ever since. Start anywhere; you'll end up reading them all.
